As Vinted’s Senior Director of Sustainability Marianne Gybels leads the company’s wider efforts to promote a more sustainable fashion industry, deepening strategic alignment and impact across the whole Vinted group.

Marianne has a background in development aid and in working with NGOs to realize the power of social enterprises. Prior to joining Vinted, she worked for Booking Holdings, leading its efforts into more sustainable travel industry. Her team’s remit ranges from creating a deep understanding of the environmental footprint of the business, to developing new models to measure the potential impact of second hand fashion.
