An award-winning sustainable entrepreneur combining vision, theory & practice, Bernice set her mission to problem-solve using design thinking & creative innovation. Originally trained as an architect at The University of Cambridge & Royal College of Art, she identified early on in her fashion career the systemic issues of over-consumption. She therefore carried out in-depth research through her Doctoral thesis in design management & systems engineering in order to re-conceptualise the Fashion System & pilot her novel 360° Sustainability business models through the founding of DEPLOY.
Bernice is a published author and is widely featured in industry-academic forums & global media including BBC & Vogue. Her speaking engagements span from Harvard & London Business Schools to Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology & Hong Kong Polytechnic University; from The Institute of Directors & Women on Boards UK to The American Chamber of Commerce EU & British Department of Industry-Trade (DIT) USA. She co-founded DEPLOY's sister brand Hennum Millinery, The WorkWell creative consortium, The StayWell boutique retreat, and The Thinking Women's Dining Club.
