Sophie is a Textiles Specialist at WRAP, leading the Design for Circularity workstream for our Textiles 2030 programme. Sophie has a deep understanding of issues and needs around closing the loop, textile-to-textile recycling technologies, and the dynamics of transitioning from linear to circular business models, backed by a decade of experience in the textiles industry. She facilitates sector-wide working groups to pinpoint high-impact areas for reduction and resource allocation. Sophie is proficient in design, pattern-cutting, and repair techniques, with hands-on craft-level expertise, and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Fashion Design from Plymouth College of Art.
