Tim is the Founder and CEO at Project Plan B, a leading workwear clothing manufacturer and Founder of the Circular Textiles Foundation (CTF), a not for profit driving the transition to circularity for the UK textiles industry. With over 25 years of experience in garment manufacturing, Tim finds himself at the forefront of textile recycling in the UK. At Project Plan B, garments are made from 100% recycled materials, and when returned, can be recycled. In 2024 they collaborated with SATCoL (Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd), the trading arm of The Salvation Army, to set-up Project Re:Claim, the UK’s first polyester recycler designed for fibre to fibre. Through the CTF, Tim bridges the gap between clothing brands and post-consumer textile recycling technologies, via workshops and certification. In 2024, the CTF Infintee mark was granted by the UKIPO as the UK certification trademark for recyclable clothing. Tim regularly presents his views to industry and academia contributing at industry events as a speaker and on panels.
