Tyler LaMotte is Marketing Director for Patagonia EMEA, based in Amsterdam. A purpose-driven brand builder with over 20 years’ experience in the outdoor industry, he oversees marketing strategy for the brand.
Hailing from the West Coast of the United States, Tyler has previously held senior roles at organisations shaping the future of outdoor, athletics, and technology, including Adidas, Keen, Salomon and Apple.
Tyler returns to Patagonia in his current role, having worked as global business unit director for snowsports, performance baselayer, trail running and accessories, at the global headquarters in Ventura, from 2010 to 2015.
As a committed advocate for environmental causes, his work brings to life the company’s reason for being: We’re in business to save our home planet.
At Patagonia, Tyler is responsible for building communities through outdoor sports and environmental activism.
Outside of his work at Patagonia, Tyler is a passionate snowboarder and lifelong outdoor enthusiast. He has sat on several boards, including the Conservation Alliance and Snowsports Industries America.
